AWARENESS of candidates running for office is critical to the beginning of achieving a multi-partisan conservation majority in the Tennessee General Assembly. Whether first time candidates or long-term incumbents, TCV works to ensure our government understands our values.

ACCOUNTABILITY begins the day officials are elected to office. TCV works hard to educate legislators on our priorities and positions on issues that matter to the Tennessee environment. Each year we issue an Annual Legislative Scorecard detailing the voting record of members of the General Assembly--then we celebrate our champions and legislative friends while encouraging the public to urge their elected officials toward stronger environmental protection.

ADVOCACY is the most important part of creating good laws that protect and preserve Our Tennessee Way of Life. Our organization works to engage and connect citizen conservation values to the legislation that travels through the lawmaking process. Be it presenting pro-environment bills or fighting efforts to increase pollution, irresponsible growth or unbalanced regulation, the TCV family of organizations and individuals is on the job making your voice heard and your vote count!
