Nature Votes 2022
As always, this event will be light on speeches and heavy on fun and connecting with supporters of Tennessee’s water, land, air an biodiversity!
This year we will recognize the following people and an organization for their conservation efforts and longtime advocacy for the environment. We hope you will join us in honoring them!
- TCV Service Award - Group:
Patagonia-Nashville store
for supporting our racial justice outreach work , for inviting us to conduct a legislative advocacy training with staff, and for supporting environmental and sustainability organizations across Tennessee.
- TCV Service Award - Elected Official:
Senator Brenda Gilmore (District 19) for her work with the National Caucus of Environmental Legislators, her dedication to highlighting and erasing environmental racism, and for standing for voting and democracy for everyone.
- TCV Service Award -Individual:
Darlene Panvini, for her amazing leadership of TCV as a board member and board president and her commitment to generations of students in teaching about biology, the importance on Nature and the interconnection of international neighbors.
In addition to honoring awardees, it will provide a chance for elected officials and citizens to "chat", enjoy live music, and bid in our online auction. Stewart Clifton will also talk about last year's legislative session, and briefly discuss plans for the 2022 legislative session.
We hope to "see" there!
